Post Malone rounds up 2019 with his third studio LP Hollywood’s Bleeding becoming the number one album of the year. As we wrote previously when Spotify released its streaming data, Posty’s album was also the most-streamed, surpassing pop giants like Billie Eilish with her debut, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift.
Hollywood’s Bleeding premiered on top of the Billboard 200 chart with 489,000 equivalent album units and has spent five non-consecutive weeks at No. 1, effectively making it the longest-running No. 1 album of the year, and it’s still going strong, remaining on the chart’s top 10 among major releases like the Frozen 2 soundtrack and Mariah Carey’s and Michael Buble’s Christmas albums.
